Swagelok Tube Bending Essentials

This Practical course is designed for engineers, installers and operators to ensure competency in tube preparation and best bending practices. With proper training, careful planning, a positive attitude, and a little practice, almost anyone can successfully bend tube.

The objectives of the course are as follows:

• Explain the theory and key concepts of how to bend tubing
• List the components of a hand tube bender and their role in bending tubing correctly
• Utilise hands-on exercises to practice the measure-bend approach to tube bending
• Demonstrate tube bending skills necessary to complete quality 45º, 90º, 180º and offset bends
